Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data CreditParakh (creditparakh.in) collects, why, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We collect as little as we can.

What we collect today

• When you click an Apply now or View on issuer site button: we record which button and page it was, the time, your country (from our hosting provider) and the page you came from. Our click records don't include your name, phone, email or IP address. We use it to see which pages help people and to reconcile referral payments.
• When you email us: your email address and whatever you choose to write, so we can reply.
• When you use our support form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the topic and message, the page you came from, and the time you gave consent. We use these only to reply to you and to keep a record of complaints. They're stored in our database on Cloudflare and sent to our support inbox through Brevo, our email provider.
• When you ask us to email your card finder result: your email address, the three cards in your result, the tool and page you used, and whether you were looking at cards or loans. Brevo, our email provider, stores these and records when you confirm. We email you only after you click the confirmation link, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To stop spam on our forms: a Cloudflare Turnstile check runs on the form and processes technical signals from your browser under Cloudflare's privacy policy. To limit repeated attempts we keep a one-way coded (hashed) form of your IP address, never the address itself, for up to 24 hours.
• Analytics: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set cookies and record the pages you view, the buttons you click (such as Apply now), your device and browser, and your approximate location. Clarity also records how pages are used (clicks and scrolling) and is set to hide what you type into forms. We use this only to see which pages help people, never for advertising, and we don't sell it. You can turn it off for this browser at any time: turn off analytics (or turn it back on).
• Hosting: our site runs on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and block attacks, under its own privacy policy.

Brevo, Google and Microsoft may process this data outside India, under their own security and privacy commitments.

When you apply for a card or a loan

Card and loan applications happen on our partner's, the bank's or the lender's website, not ours. We never ask for your PAN, income or other application details on CreditParakh; for a loan, you enter them on our partner's page so lenders can check your credit. The details you enter there are collected by them under their privacy policies. Our partner may show us the status of applications and loans that came through our links so that we can be paid; we use that only to reconcile payments and never contact applicants.

How long we keep it

• Click records: up to 24 months.
• Emails: up to 12 months after your question is resolved, unless the law needs us to keep them longer.
• Support form requests: up to 12 months after the request is closed, unless the law needs us to keep them longer.
• Email sign-ups: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details.
• Hashed IP addresses used to limit form attempts: 24 hours.
• Google Analytics: 14 months, then deleted by Google.
• Microsoft Clarity: as set by Microsoft for Clarity (currently up to 13 months; session recordings for less).

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw consent you gave, and nominate someone to act for you. Email support@creditparakh.in. We don't sell personal data.

Grievance contact

Grievance Officer, CreditParakh: support@creditparakh.in. We acknowledge within 3 working days and aim to resolve within 15 days. If you're not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
