Questions people ask
Which is better, SimplyCLICK or SimplySAVE?
The fees are the same, so it depends on where you spend. On dining, movies, groceries and department stores SimplySAVE pays about 1.67%, so ₹10,000 a month there earns about ₹167, up to ₹1,250 a month. SimplyCLICK's 10X and 5X points apply online, plus ₹2,000 e-vouchers at ₹1 lakh and ₹2 lakh of online spend, but SBI doesn't publish what its points are worth in rupees.
How much is a SimplyCLICK or SimplySAVE point worth?
SBI states SimplySAVE's monthly 10X cap as 5,000 points worth ₹1,250, so 4 points are worth ₹1; that's where its 1.67% comes from. SBI doesn't publish a rupee value for SimplyCLICK points, so we leave its rates blank rather than guess.
Can I use SimplyCLICK or SimplySAVE on UPI?
No. SBI lists SimplyCLICK on American Express and SimplySAVE on Visa and Mastercard, not RuPay, so neither can be linked to UPI.
What don't they earn on?
Neither earns points on fuel, wallet loads, rent, government payments, EMI conversions or cash advances. Both waive the 1% fuel surcharge on ₹500 to ₹3,000 transactions, up to ₹100 a statement cycle. SimplySAVE gives no 10X at Metro Cash & Carry, Flipkart Wholesale or Walmart, and SimplyCLICK gives no 5X on utility bills paid on SBI Card's website or app.
