Questions people ask
Which card costs less to keep?
Flipkart Axis: ₹500 joining and ₹500 a year from the second year, waived on ₹3.5 lakh of spend in the card year (rent and wallet loads don't count). CASHBACK SBI charges ₹999 a year, reversed if you spent ₹2 lakh the year before. Both fees are plus GST.
Do they pay anything on fuel, rent or bills?
No. Both exclude fuel, rent, wallet loads, utility bills, insurance and education from cashback. Each waives the 1% fuel surcharge: Flipkart Axis on ₹400 to ₹4,000 transactions, up to ₹400 a statement cycle, and CASHBACK SBI on ₹500 to ₹3,000, up to ₹100.
Can I use either card on UPI?
No. CASHBACK SBI is a Visa card, and Axis doesn't list Flipkart Axis as a RuPay card, so neither can be linked to UPI. For cashback on UPI, see our UPI credit cards page.
